As a busy mom herself, with 15 years of experience, many certifications and extensive education, Maila is here to help you find the perfect color to fit your goals and lifestyle.
Maila loves to sit with her guests and really get to know them as an individual so that she can create the right look for you.
Maila grew up in Pleasanton, and now lives in near Downtown Livermore. She always knew she wanted to be a hair stylist so she went to beauty school right out of high school. She graduated from the Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco.
When she's not in the salon you can find her hanging out with her family, checking out national parks, baking or mentoring other beauty industry professionals.
I've been going to Maila for over 3 years. She makes you feel so comfortable, safe and well cared for. She LISTENS and makes recommendations. Her knowledge of "gray coverage" is truly amazing. I truly look forward to our time together. I'm so grateful to have her expertise and to be her client!

Salon Policies
Cancellation Policy:
I understand that things can come up. I value your time, and hope you value mine too. In the event you need to cancel your reservation, please be sure to notify me no later than 48 hours before your scheduled reservation. Failure to notify me in time will incur a re-booking fee. Any reservation cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled date and time falls under my cancellation policy protocol. A cancellation fee of $100 for color services and 50% for cut services will be invoiced to you and will be due before a new reservation can be made. If you have any questions regarding this policy please communicate them before committing to a reservation. If an appointment is cancelled consecutively 3 times, you will be required to only book within 48 hours of the available appointment time or be a waitlist only guest.
Service Adjustment Policy:
Your satisfaction is the highest priority. If you are not completely content, please let me know during your service or within 7 days after your service has been performed. I am committed to making any needed corrections, as long as it falls in the services discussed and agreed upon during the consultation. I will be pleased to accommodate you free of charge in most circumstances. For said complimentary service to be done, this request must be made within 7 days of your initial reservation.
Product Return Policy:
Subject to Maven & Co return policy. A very lightly used product may be returned by the next scheduled reservation you have with me. Make sure to reach out to me with your concerns as soon as possible after using the product.
Salon Etiquette:
Discriminatory/Derogatory statements and actions are prohibited in the salon and will not be tolerated. Our staff has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
Every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with your stylist will remain confidential. Client information and email lists are confidential and will not be sold or shared with outside companies.
Privacy:
The Undersigned hereby grants Maila Snow DBA Maila Wheeler Hair the irrevocable right and permission to contact them through various communication channels including, but not limited to, electronic mail (email), text messages, direct mail, and telephone calls for matters related to the services and agreements herein. This consent covers all forms of contact, both currently known and developed hereafter, ensuring continuous communication capability as technology evolves.
